The first time I connected with T I knew instantly she was a client I wanted to celebrate with. We spent over an hour on our initial call together going back and forth about her ideas for her and her fiance, E’s, elopement day. But as much as I love chatting all things wedding, it was the passionate way that T described her reasons for wanting to elope, her relationship with E and how important it was to include her daughter O in all of the magic, that had me eager to put together a day that was really special and memorable for them.

T, E + O decided to move forward with our Valhalla Elopement Co. Package, in collaboration with Olea Floral and Jacey Kendall Photography, to ensure the process was stress-free for them. Seeing as we were still sitting smack dab in the middle of heavy COVID restrictions, it was important to us all that we developed a day that was as safe as it was beautiful. We were so humbled to be given full control and trust from T+E to bring the details of the day together – I would say the team out did themselves on this one!

On Elopement day we woke up to a clouded, rainy day. But with clear umbrella’s, a popup tent and rain gear in hand we pulled out all the stops to ensure that T+E and their nearest were able to spend the day celebrating all the goodness of officially saying “I Do”. Both T and O showed their rainy day style with killer fur and leather coats and E coordinated his tie to match O’s dress. They sealed the deal in the foggy forest at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park before moving to a private residence to enjoy a sit-down meal overlooking the gorgeous Kootenay Lake.

A day I surely wont forget.
